Thermal imaging has many useful functions aside from checking the state and effectiveness of your home's thermal insulation. Some of those functions include the discovery of hidden leaks or damp in a building's structure.
Occasionally, leaking pipes, unsecured gutters or chimneys lead to the presence of damp inside walls, floors or ceilings. It is not always possible to see those leaks with the naked eye, however they greatly affect the technical condition of the building as well as our health. An analysis of thermal imaging can reveal any damp areas, and in turn help locating its source.
